BSc Accounting with Law

Who is it for?

This degree will be of interest not only if you wish to pursue a career in accounting or law but if you are considering working as a Company Secretary or in areas of commerce such as insurance, banking, sales and marketing. It is flexible enough to enable you to focus on your major area of interest.

As with other degrees, it will help you develop the skills needed to think critically. As such, it takes a broad approach to these subjects rather than focusing on narrow technicalities. It will provide an essential background to accounting and law but further study will be necessary if you wish to qualify as a lawyer or as an accountant.

This provides an opportunity for graduates of any discipline to gain an additional undergraduate degree by following a shorter than normal programme, successfully completing nine full units rather than twelve. This can normally be achieved in a minimum of two years with the exception of the BSc Economics, BSc Economics & Finance, BSc Development & Economics and the BSc Information Systems & Management.
